Ultrafast molecular spectroscopy of renewable high-energy carriers in aero-propulsion
Descriptif
We seek a highly motivated postdoc who will conduct experimental research and contribute to the coaching of PhD students at the Propulsion and Power Laboratory of Delft University of Technology. Central for the project is to develop and build state-of-the-art ultrafast laser diagnostics and remote sensing techniques for retrieving spatially and temporally correlated chemical composition and temperature in combustion systems. In your research, you will be part of a group investigating sustainable aero propulsion. The position will be shared between two experimental activities: 1) Ultrafast coherent Raman spectroscopy of distributed auto-ignition combustion modes with reduced NOx emission. 2) Development of coherent Raman imaging for the study of critical mechanisms implementing renewable high-energy carriers (H2 and biofuels) in aero-propulsion.
